Traditional Dojo
We practice a comprehensive style of mixed martial arts called Shinsei Hapkido. Evade, Invade, Control is our philosophy. We believe in evading an attack, invading defenses, and controlling attackers through submissions and joint locks whenever possible, precluding the need to kill. You will find practical karate moves, judo throws and hapkido joint locks in our style.
Our Philosophy
We approach martial arts study with a biblically-based foundation that meshes nicely with Bushido. We are not affiliated with any denomination. Life skills, physical and mental training as well as defense are the focus.
Since 2001, High Reaches has been providing quality, affordable Martial Arts instruction in the Ashland, Ohio area.
